Zambezi Mana Canoe Trail

A 3-night canoe safari along the Mana Pools shoreline in Zimbabwe experiencing the best that Zambezi has to offer.

Your Mana Canoe Experience starts with your pick-up from your accommodation in Kariba and transport to your start point on the river, from where you will travel over 75 kilometres down the Lower Zambezi River in Canadian style canoes. Carrying all the required equipment with you and accompanied by an experienced guide, you will feel like a true explorer as you paddle down the Zambezi, just the way its been done for decades.

The Zambezi River passes through the heart of the Mana Pools National Park, and you will see the ancient acacia trees that line the shoreline along with Natal Mahogany trees and the odd anthill. Hippos are seen frequently, along with large Zambezi elephants who come to the shore to quench their thirst. Nights are spent on islands in the middle of the river in camps put up and enjoyed by everyone on the trip. Campfires, colonial hurricane lanterns and the beautiful surroundings will create an unforgettable experience that will stay with you forever.

This is one of the most memorable experiences along the Zambezi River or anywhere in Africa. Our guests often choose to add on a couple of nights in a fixed camp on the shoreline at the end, or any of the other many options that we offer.
