Victoria Falls Hotel

The grand old lady of Victoria Falls offers charming Edwardian accommodation with comforts of a luxury hotel

Take a trip down memory lane and soak up the history and ambience of a bygone era with a stay at the luxurious Victoria Falls Hotel. Built in 1904 but recently refurbished, the hotel combines Edwardian-style charm and accommodations with modern-day five-star luxury.

The hotel with its lush tropical gardens, provides the tranquility and seclusion that many guests seek while being a mere ten-minute walk on a private pathway from the spectacular Victoria Falls. You'll wake up to the sound of 'the smoke that thunders' and see the sun rise beneath the mist of one of the seven natural wonders of the world. It is a truly unique experience.

Excellent cuisine is at the heart of this luxurious hotel. The opulent Livingstone Room offers fine dining and dancing. The Jungle Junction with its adjacent sculpture garden is more relaxed with famous breakfast and dinner buffets. Stanley Terrace serves delicious afternoon teas and cocktails and has been a meeting place for African adventurers for over a century.

If you have some spare time, you can relax next to the swimming pool; try your hand at a game of tennis on one of the two tennis courts; further your knowledge at the library or reflect in silence at the chapel.
