The lunar rainbow

The lunar rainbow is an amazing spectacle for those of our guests who are here during the full moon. We offer special visits to the Falls to see this unique event, which is visible the day before, the day of and the day after the full moon. The lunar rainbow is best seen at times of high water – the months of April, May, June and July. Make sure you book your trip during the full moon period to experience this unique phenomenon!

Activities include sunrise boat trips, canoeing, fishing, guided bird walks, island picnics and a visit to the Victoria Falls. Tongabezi offers restrained luxury in traditional style that blends with the natural beauty of Africa. Canoe trips take you down river through the archipelago of uninhabited islands above the falls. Enjoy champagne brunch at the edge of the falls on Livingstone Island

The Honeymoon House has been described as "worth getting married for!" The emphasis is on style, service and atmosphere. Even more peaceful and idyllic is Sindabezi Island Camp, with just eight beds, downstream by boat from Tongabezi.

Or spend the night at Sindabezi island, 3 km downstream from Tongabezi Lodge, with Cordon bleu cuisine brought to you by canoe. On Livingstone Island, you can enjoy a champagne brunch at the edge of the falls.
