Owned and managed by Liz and Adrian Reed of Senanga Safaris, Hunter's Lodge has served as a simple, comfortable stopover in Victoria Falls for over 20 years.

The Lodge and Cottage are set in mature and well shaded gardens with a swimming pool and braai (barbecue) area.

The property is a casual 25 minute stroll from the centre of Victoria Falls town but the staff have always been happy to loan their bikes for a small fee! A town shuttle is easily arranged from the office.

Hunter's Lodge - bed and breakfast basis

The main lodge has 6 large twin ensuite bedrooms with a communal lounge and dining room. A full English breakfast is included in the rate and the kitchen will serve other meals and dinners on request.

The lodge is ideal for singles, couples and small groups who'd prefer bed and breakfast arrangements. Victoria Falls has a reasonable selection of restaurants.

No children under 10 years are allowed at the lodge.

Hunter's Cottage - self cater basis

Hunter's Cottage is ideal for a small family or group of 4 to 6 guests. The cottage has three twin bedrooms (one en suite and the other two sharing a bathroom), a large private lounge, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen.

The cottage is fully serviced and offered on a self-cater basis.

Parking is available on the property.

Victoria Falls Bridge

Senanga Safaris offer Horse safaris and night drives from Hunter's Lodge.

The horse safaris range from 2 and 3 hour rides to full day rides, breakfast rides and sunset combinations. Two Professional Guides are available for the horse safaris with top quality Polo Crosse trained horses using Australian Stock saddles and cross country safety helmets.

Night safaris run for about 5 hours and include a game drive, viewing from a game hide with a traditional "braai" (barbecue) around the fire. Experienced local guides tell tales about animals, people and life in the bush come with a true African perspective.
