Lokuthula Lodge, Victoria Falls

No trip to Victoria Falls would be complete without enjoying a traditional meal at The Boma - Place of Eating. Positioned near the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge and nestling amidst the indigenous Gusu forest, The Boma is not just another ethnic restaurant but a unique cultural experience that bombards the senses with the tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa - together with the warmth and hospitality of Zimbabwe and its people.
Specialising in a superb selection of Zimbabwean dishes, fish, a variety of game meat and potjiekos (hunter’s stew) as well as vegetarian meals - diners are invited to sample ethnic delicacies and observe local customs. The sights and sounds of the evening are accentuated by Ndebele performers who captivate guests with their energetic songs and dance. Steeped in mystery, a witchdoctor can predict your future while the restaurant’s very own sangoma (traditional story teller) explains the country’s folklore, culture and heritage.

Additional facilities include a two-tier swimming pool, poolside bar and snack restaurant, children's playground and upstairs TV lounge with satellite link-up. These all adjoin the renowned Boma Restaurant

For unrivalled comfort in a private and relaxed atmosphere, heightened by Ndebele inspired decor plus acres and acres of pristine bush, Lokuthula is the ideal getaway.
