Gorges Lodge Gorges is uniquely positioned atop the escarpment of the Zambezi River
gorge, a few miles downstream from Victoria Falls. The lodge environs
comprise unspoiled riverine vegetation inhabited by numerous species of
wild animals and birds. The area is home to the Black eagle and the rare
Taita falcon. The Gorges property has only 10 units, which are individual
stone and thatch cottages set on the edge of the gorge over 800 feet above
the Zambezi River: four double-story suites with wide sheltered balconies
